On December 13th, The Guardian (American media outlet) released top 30 boybands members in the world. Among top names, Big Bang's G-Dragon and BTS' Jimin have managed to enter the list, become the only two idols from South Korea. Jimin placed at #17 while G-Dragon secured the 11th position.
Jimin was chosen for the 17th place for "bringing the flashes of old-school boyband sex appeal." They also mentioned how Jimin showed off his abs during the gorgeous, slow-burn solo track 'Serendipity' at BTS' London arena shows.
As for G-Dragon, the media outlet wrote, "In many ways, Big Bang's G-Dragon, hailed by many as the king of K-pop, ushered in the era of the modern, multi-disciplinary Korean pop star. A singer-songwriter, rapper, producer, entrepreneur and fashion icon (he once appeared on the cover of Italian Vogue), G-Dragon brought an alluring androgyny and edge to the band. He is currently halfway through his mandatory military service."
